Located in the city centre of Bologna, the hotel Il Convento dei Fiori di Seta (The Silken Flowers' Nunnery) has been realized restoring the little church of the nunnery built in the 15th century and enlarged during the 18th century. The chronicles of the time report that in the gardens the nuns grew silk-worms. With the silk they created flowers that they sold to raise funds for charity. The hotel was named after this anecdote.
